After you have your two batters (one white and one choc.) put spoonfuls of each color sparatically in your pan. Then using a butter knife, use a slow swirl motion to swirl the two together. (That's what I do anyway.) Hope that helps.

One time I did a rainbow brite cake and I used red, blue, yellow, green and white batter. It looked so cool after it was cut. I took my pan and made an S shape of one color on the bottom, took another color and made a sort of S shape in the places where there was no batter, rotated my pan and used another color and did the same thing with the remaining colors and did white to fill it up. I did not use a knife to mix them. I just left them as they went in. Gosh I'll bet that is as clear as mud!!! LOL I always fill my pans about 2/3 full and cut off the excess, so mostly the white got cut off. It looked GREAT! They loved it. HTH

Sorry to go off-topic, but bellejoey, is your name a combination of your kids names by any chance? My screen name is a combination of my daughter's names, but the funny thing is my son's name is Joey!
