Can anyone give me a list of what comes in the kit? I signed up for the class but didn't buy the kit because I think I have most of what is needed. TIA

I think you can go to www.wilton.com and find the courses. I believe it tells you what is in each of the course kits.

They should have given you a sheet with what is needed for the class when you signed up.

I looked on Wilton and it doesn't tell you.
Thanks Wiltonlady for the list. I was pretty sure I had everything and now I know for sure!

Most of the stores do. I know Michaels and Hobby Lobby do.

I know that several of you have mentioned that this class was TOO elementary, if you've already taken the 3 Wilton courses.

What if you REALLY stink at fondant? Would it help you improve your fondant skills? Or do they deal more w/gumpaste?

I disagree with those that say if you have taken the three Wilton courses that you don't get anything out of this. I think that people that are part of a message board like this and are good at trying things on their own it may be repeat of information they have already have. BUT not everyone come to message boards like this and some people need to see things and do them hands on with someone to help them to really get it.

I say if you want to take the course by all means take it. You might actually really like and enjoy it despite what everyone else says.

This course does work on fondant skills as well as gumpaste. You will cover a cake board with fondant and do two fondant covered cakes.

I may give it a try, but I'll have to wait until June.

It's got a lot of repetitive subjects in the beginning but, I think it's worth taking this course.

I just had my first class of Course III tonight and start my gumpaste/fondant tomorrow. My instructer said tonight that some will be repetitive, but that it's some extra practice, so I'm looking forward to doing both at the same time.
I'm also very lucky on Course III... I'm the only one that signed up, so I have an excellent teacher all to myself.. Yipeee... since it's just me, she's going to show me some extra stuff... yipee again... thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif
