Adding Fondant Accents To Cake...

Okay, so if I want to add little fondant circles to a cake, can I do it after the buttercream has crusted? I want to try the viva method so my cake is smooth, but will the fondant stick to the frosting if it is crusted?

It works fine. Use a little clear vanilla on the fondant to make it sticky. I'm sure you will love the results!
