does anyone know if there is a sampler of extracts/flavorings i can get somewhere? i would love to experiment with different flavorings in my cakes and frostings, but i don't want to have to buy a huge bottle of something or a tiny bottle of something that costs a fortune. i am hoping to find like a sampler or box of different kinds i can try out. is there such a thing? thanks!

I don't know if you would want to use the drams of candy flavorings? A dram is a small amount and not very expensive-they are LorAnn flavorings for candy. I get these at my local cake supply store, but there are several places online. I know my sister buys from Cakes by Jan. She is reasonable and ships quickly. I'm sure others have more ideas.

edited to send you the link...

Here is a link to the Lorainn oils everyone raves about. At the top of the product list is 2 assorted 1dram cartons that has different flavors in it. If you click on the link for the assorted ones, it tells you what flavors come with that sample pack. HTH some, Jen
