Hello!

Awhile back I saw a thread regarding making your own molds for bottles and such with a product available at Michaels...something about 2 products you mix together? I have tried to search the forums and have had no luck finding that thread.....

Does anyone remember this or have the link to that thread? I would appreciate it as I am thinking of giving this a try....

Thanks everyone!

Not sure if this helps, but someone did post this website somewhere here. I have become so addicted to this site, and have taken in SOOO much information that I can't remember where I saw it, let alone who posted it!

Let me know if you find something here in Ontario - I am very interested too! I checked Michaels with no luck, but whose to say I wasn't in the wrong area. Let me see if I can find the thread that dealt with this topic.

(triplets??!! - and you still have time to decorate cakes?)

I did post that I used Liquid Latex to make my bottle mold, and I also tried the stuff you mix together but I wanted a very soft flexible mold so the liquid latex worked better for what I wanted. I will see if I can find the thread.

I bought Amaco Rubber Latex at Michaels.

triplet mom - you are not crazy. I read the same post just yesterday and made a point of jotting down the product name on a piece of paper.. I'm at work right now (and working really hard I might add!) but when I get home, I'll get you the product name. I know that whoever wrote the post I am thinking about, said she bought it at Michaels and that it was in with the clay products... are we thinking of the same post?

I do believe we are! thumbs_up.gif If you have the info, that would be awesome!

SweetResults, I added your thread to my list of followed topics so I could access it when I needed to refer to it again. Your bottles totally ROCK!!! Amaco rubber latex huh? Gotta see if our store carries that....

Thanks so much everyone, this is a huge help!

Still couldn't find the original post, but I did jot down that it was called Amazing Molding Putty. It is found in the clay area and that it's in a purple and yellow box (and I this the author said there was a baby on the box).

Hope this helps - will keep looking for that post.... ARGG!
