I think they look great. What is it that you don't like?
Oh my goodness, they are identical to the original! How could you not love that! We are always too critical of our own work and never fully believe others when they say it is perfect.. but trust me they are perfect!
Thanks for all of the positivity!!! I guess maybe Ijust needed some other points of view, besides my own....I already know my boyslove them, LOL!!!
The fire that's coming out of the orange one's tail..I'm going to add on after I get it on the cake...I think I'll do it with a leaf tip or a star tip.
ANd, I didn't do the yellow in the background b/c I didn't like it, so I guess I'm just way too hard on myself........they're really important to me, I guess.
thanks again, guys!!!
I thought at first it was an edible image is looks so perfect!!! ![]()
i thought it was an ediable image too
looks great
Thanks you all!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess this is just one more reason why I literally became an addict in less than a month on here!!! LOL
Glad to hear your son liked them!!!!!!!!
I wanted them to be flush, so I piped the whole top of the cake, too. I'm hoping this will be easy to apply...just slap on the top of the cake, lol!
I'm sure it will be a perfect cake! ![]()
Also, what instructions are you using because I have to make a Spider-man birthday cake for my son and already have the pic printed out-now I just need to see which directions are easiest.
What are you using for the outline?
TIA!-Josie
Everything is buttercream. I have them wrapped in glad press n seal b/c they will be in the freezer until this weekend.
the instructions are on this site somewhere...just make sure your icing is thin enough........you said you already have your pic printed out.......did you remember to print it out backwards?!?!
Any more questions, just ask.
Good Luck!!
mmdd, your bct transfers look great, can I ask how you get them flush with the top of the cake, mine always stand up above the cake, thanks![]()

I'm putting them on 6" cakes and I wanted them to be flush, so...what you're looking at is what's going to be the top of the cake. I drew a 6" circle and did my fbct in the middle of it and then filled in the rest of the circle with white b/c that's what color the rest of the cake will be.
I've never done it this way before but I've talked to someone that has, so it should work ok!
They look awesome!! I havent had a reason to do a FBCT this way yet, but I can't wait.
I'm on a different computer and got to see the pics. They are just as beautiful as I thought they'd be. You did a really GREAT job.
That is perfectly fine with me..........I'm too afraid to do fondant....I'm considering selling my fondant tools, don't have that many to begin with, but..................thanks for the compliments!!!
