Hi All

I need some ideas for a 50th birthday cake. My well has run dry and I can't think of any ideas that will blow their minds. I'm making a cake for my Aunt's 50 birthday and she plans to have at least 100 guests. So you see...I'm trying to gain some clients from this party.

The only idea I had in mind was to do a tier cake with 50 on the top tier. Sounds pretty boring. thumbsdown.gif

Any ideas?

Does your aunt have any special interests, hobbies, fun things she likes to do...or maybe a theme they have in mind for the party that would give some ideas. Janice

the surviving 50 shopping bag???

big ol' stacked cake with all kinds of "products" (fondant/gumpaste) sticking out and laying around the bag

thing such as:

fixodent
exlax
depends
pair of reading glasses
hearing aid batteries

(you get the idea)

oooo...and add some kind of tickets to like a total make-over spa...or a "fountain of lost youth" cruise

or to get a gravity defying body lift!
