This is the story of my niece, and her daughter (8yrs.) is my Goddaughter
Please help us out! Our daughter has just been diagnosed with Leukemia.
She is 25 years old and has two little girls, an 8 yr old and a 16 month old.
Her name is Katrina DeJesus and is interned at the MD Anderson Cancer Center-Orlando Regional Hospital, Orlando, FL and is undergoing whole blood transfusions and blood platelets transfusions. You can go to any blood bank center and donate in her name. It does not matter what blood type you are, she will be credited with your donation. Just let them know her name and the hospital and they will take care of the rest.
We are also looking for any and all information on recourses available to her and her family. Katrina will not be able to return to work for a minimum of 2 years, so we know that it will be a real challenge for her financially. Any information as to where she can get financial help will be gladly appreciated.
As you can imagine, we are just getting beginning this long, hard road. We are looking for support groups available and any information we can find. Cada mensaje que ustedes me envian yo se lo estoy enviando a Katy y familia, so ella esta recibiendo el apoyo directamente de ustedes.
