So, I have been lurking around looking at all these beautiful cakes and boy are they amazing! So I started reading up and decided to give it a try. Here is my 2nd Fondant Cake attempt. I know I definetly need work on my piping, fondant figures and many others things but it sure was fun!

Couldn't get picture to attach so it is in my photos. Thanks for looking!

All tips and advice welcome!!!! Like, how do you get the cornstarch off the fondant???

This site is awesome!! TIA

Well done on your first 2 cakes! You've done a great job getting your fondant covering smooth, and your bunny is just gorgeous!

The only recommendation I would make is to make your fondant figures and leave them to dry on a flat surface for a day or two before placing on the cake. The top carrot, for example, has molded to the shape of the one underneath.

To get the cornstarch off, just brush with a clean dry paintbrush before you place the fondant figures.

Happy caking!

Very good first tries! For cornstarch as already stated a paint brush works great. I usually have 5-6 out when working with fondant so they are easy to grab lol. Keep up the good work thumbs_up.gif
