I have definitely found a new addiction!! I haven't taken any classes as of yet...so far I've just been soaking up knowledge from CC. Although some things have been a challenge, I'm loving every minute of it...well ok, maybe not every minute (there have been a few tears lol).
My very first cake was for a co-worker who's last day at our office was on Thursday. He's a big fan of spiderman so...
It's white cake with nutella filling. BC Dream icing (so yummy!), used the Melvira method - thank goodness for that.
Then for today I wanted to try playing with fondant for the first time.
Just white cake with BC filling (I wanted to keep it simple).
Overall, I think they turned out well, and I definitely learned a lot for future cakes.
Can't wait to get know some of my fellow addicts, and any tip or suggestions are much appreciated.
