I have a cake in a couple of weeks for a man's wedding shower. The theme is lawn and garden. I have been doing a search, but so far haven't found anything related. Any ideas on a cake idea or where to look for one?

Hmm, never heard of one of these! Is that a Southern thing? How big of a cake? How about grass tip on the cake and a fondant workshed? Let me think about some other ideas...

i think thats a neat idea. i would color the icing different colors and have half the sheet a deck, and then on the other side i would have grass, and maybe a lawnmower, and for the deck, a lil table and lawn patio chairs would be cool...

i dunno.. i think it would be neat.

You could make grass, a lawnmower, a tree. Maybe put a hammock with a man sleeping in it, and really tall grass with the mower parked next to the hammock.

Sugarshack's cake is ADORABLE! There is also a cake in the Father's Day gallery that someone did a FBCT of a lawn mower with some pull out grass that I think is very cute. I don't know how to attach it here though.

Thanks so much. The person asking for the cake called it a lawn and garden shower, but I'm thinking anything that you would give a man would work. I.E. tools, water hose, etc.
Maybe it is a southern thing!

I saw a cake somewhere before that was all grass sheet cake with a lawnmower, and all you could see was the guys feet sticking out and it said, "I fought the lawn and the lawn won!"
