So my boss has asked me to make cupcakes for his wife. She had a baby in December and won 2nd place in a triatholon this past Sunday. He wants the cupcakes to have 2nd place ribbons and medals or stuff from a triatholon
Any ideas!?!?!?!?
It just has to be buttercream, no fondant or gumpaste or choclate. Just buttercream
Thanks in advance

you could make the whole cupcake the round part of the ribbon and then attach a real ribbon tail to it?

How about a cupcake cake?!! If he has a picture of her medal, you could do an edible image and place it on the CCC!

You could stripe your icing bag with red on one side, blue on the other - white icing. For the medals, try finding a chocolate mold that matches. Use colored candy melts, dust with super gold luster dust.
