Hi Meghan, I don't know anything about Sacramento, but wanted to wish you luck with your move! It sounds like a lovely place, from what I've heard, and since your family will be there I'm sure you all will be happy. Janice

Same here, Meghan....change happens for a reason, best wishes to you. Maybe you will be even more inspired with cake when you settle into your new home!

Welcome!
I live in Stockton--about 45 minutes south of Sac.
I love it here and play from time to time in Sac. It is a town with a great deal of historical sites. The nicest part about living in the Central Valley is you are only about an hour or 2 from everything--mountains in the winter for skiing or in the summer for camping. The ocean is about the same distance. Lots and lots of rivers to cool off in during the heat of summer.
Again WELCOME!

Welcome! I grew up in the Sacramento area. My family moved up from Fullerton when I was 6. We have been here 30 years!

I now live in Placerville, about 45 minutes east of Sacramento.

LMK if you need help with neighborhoods, schools, etc.

Sac is fine...hot in the summer, generally a mild winter. I prefer it to southern Cal, at any rate...!
