My transfer won't peel off the wax paper.. at least not in one piece. Anyone know why???? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks a bunch,
Dawn

did you try to stick it in the microwave for a sec to maybe loosen it from the paper. It may defeat the whole purpose of a fbct??!!

Waxed paper isn't always impervious to moisture. Sometimes the icing will seep through and bind to the paper underneath. I do mine on plastic wrap to make sure I get a clean release. Just smooth it out and tape the edges down.

This did happen to me. Once the transfer was simply to thin and therefor thawed REAL quick. also removing it by sliding off the table and pealing wax paper down as you go might help

I always try to get a portion of mine off the waxed paper and then slide my offset spatula under and push down slightly on the frosting while I pull the wax paper off........or push donw on the frosting on top of the wax paper while you peel it off.........I'm sure that doesn't make sense, it's hard to put to words......while I'm putting pressure on the transfer with the waxed paper over it I hold my right hand slightly below my left hand which is slowly peeling the paper back and off of the transfer as I uncover it I keep moving my hands down further until the whole thing is released.
