Could I substitute unsweetened chocolate for bittersweet chocolate? Maybe it's a silly question, but, can someone tell please tell me? TIA

as long as you add extra sugar!!!!

unsweetened is just that....bittersweet has sugar.

try cocoa powder straight to get a preview of unsweetened most would say YUCK!

LOL I am so sorry, I posted the question the wrong way, the question is if I could substitute bittersweet chocolate for unsweetened. Thanks a lot!

You can, but omit extra sugar unless you want the extra sweetness.
