wats every1 doing for easter sunday? mine is going to be boring, like i made a cake, but it turned out really crappy!! lol anyone else have to make a cake?

We were just going to be by ourselves... but due to an unexpected event MIL and friend coming for Easter meal. Panic housework attack and what have we got in the freezer meat-wise??? moment...
I spent yesterday making a cake for a my family gathering last night. While we were there (we didn't start dinner until 6) we got a call from my BF's family that we have easter today (sunday) at 1.... so i am going to try to make a cake to take. It will be very simple but that's all they get with 18 hrs notice!
I made a cake for my family gathering. We were going to have a b picnic w/ grinders (subs) and potato salad to avoid being in the kiitchen all day. The weather has not held up, it is only 32 degrees right now and snowing. 
My 4 yr old nephew says we will have the picnic in his living room, so who knows!

Well, if I can get my husband out of bed, we'll get to church. The kids already woke up and found their easter baskets. There's still one really well hidden egg that they haven't found yet.
Going to make a pork roast for dinner and I'm going to throw together a last minute tres leches cake. I don't think I'll have time to decorate it up pretty or anything but my husband will be happy with the taste at least
