I am hoping that someone has a solution... or idea...

I have just baked the 3d bunny holding the Easter egg. He won't stand up... he keeps tilting backwards and I'm afraid his head will fall off as he seems a little top heavy. His bottom is level so I think the problem is his head... ugh!

Any ideas short of using him as a flat character? I currently have him laying on his back for fear that he will lose his head if I try to make him stand.

I really have not idea how to fix him... please help!!

TIA!

Gina

wedge of cake under his tooky to tilt him forward "just enough"

dowel down through him and into cakeboard (i'd use 3 or 4 boards stacked and glued together to get enough holding power on the dowel and then ribbon round the edge)

if really up to it:
take any leftover cake and create a small basket or stump to put behind him and prop him up.

Doug,

What a great idea!! I made two jumbo cupcakes with some leftover batter. I can use one of them for a stump... I will give this a try and let you know how it goes.

Thank you, thank you!!

Mmmmm... whopper robin eggs...

Okay, so bunny is standing (head still attached... at least for now). I added some cake under his tooky and gave him a support stump... so far so good...

Thanks Doug! You've save the Easter Bunny!!... or at least our Easter Bunny.
