good luck.
For larger cakes I always use cream cheesing frosting. If I am making the standard 2 layer 8" cake, I will use the frosting recipe that comes with the recipe. It is a cooked frosting, very soft, but also VERY good.
HTH.

Welcome to the CC Family!
I have used the Crusting Cream Cheese Icing recipe from this site and I LOVE it so much, I'll never try another. It's PERFECT. You can decorate with it, flowers, borders..etc. It's awesome ![]()
