Ok you smart folks help me with this one please, A girl came today and wants me to do her wedding cake. She picked out the cake and wants a three tier classic cake with seperators. The problem is she wants "pink camoflauge" for the top tier. She's serious too. Any ideas how to do that on a round cake? I thought if it were a sheet cake I could try a FBCT but on a round one????????????????????????????????? Help!!!!!!!!!! Thanks can't wait to hear the advice on this one. It's for the whole top , top and sides.
Hi,
This cake can be used for inspiration, just change the colors. HTH

I searched for camo.
If you go to the junior dept. or older girls you can get a great idea of the colors that look good in pink camo. My daughter has a pair of pants that are two pinks and white and kind of khaki brown. Very cute
choose your colors, use a large round tip and medium to thin consistency of a crusting buttercream. in small sections at a time, pipe out the colors, then smooth with a foam roller or a viva paper towel or typing paper. then move on to the next section. you dont want to do the entire cake and then smooth because it will crust too much on part of it by the time you finish the other side and it wont blend and smooth as well.
here is one that manages to look really elegant, I even saved it to my favourites, just in case! http://cakecentral.com/cake-photo-352243.html
Heres a cute one i found on google although id love to know how they made the camoflauge ![]()

If she doesn't mind fondant or MMF.. just choose you're colors..marthajo1
is right just go on line - here's a link for the colors of pink camo
http://www.armynavyshop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?store_code=army-navy-shop&screen=PROD&product_code=rc2042
.. then just color you're fondant or MMF and put "chunks of it all over the white background and roll.. you will end up with camo.
