MIL was asking what i was making for Easter (cake wise) and told her just some Egg shaped mini cakes, nothing to fancy as i had the huge bird cake last week (course #2), and a new class this week, and another cake due next week (course #3). didn't want too much cake. So then she pulls out this story abuot how she always does a lamb cake for Easter. Whatever, i've never seen this cake in the 8 easter's i've been around, but whatever. So then husband decides, Yeah, you should do the Lamb cake. Did i not just say i didn't want anything to fancy? And what is it with men and their moms? It's like if Mom does it, than Wife has to do it too? And EXACTLY the same way??? icon_mad.gif

So i make the lamb cake. Of course it's better than what she makes, icon_wink.gif she just frosts it with a knife, no decorations or anything. Then Joe says "don't forget the toothpicks in the cake." icon_confused.gif What toothpics? Apparently, her Lamb's ears always fell off. No Joe, i didn't put Toothpics in, my ears stayed on just fine. So anyway, here's the cake.

What do you think? Is there anything i should have done differently? My facial features suck, they did with the Cars cake too. I'm working on that.

Advice? Critism? Tell me it sucks??

I think it looks great...I haven't been brave enough to attempt the stand up cakes yet.
