What Happened To The Star Ratings

What has happened to the star ratings? You used to be able to click on stars to rate a cake and now you can't do that anymore, why?

Jackie put it to a vote and the majority decided not to have a rating system anymore.

I prefer no ratings too. It just didn't seem to serve the greater good which is sharing instead of judging.

Thats good. We are supose to share and enjoy, not have to compete and judge.
We are all great cake designers. And the happiness and effort of making a cake should have given all of us 5 stars.

I'd noticed that too and wondered. I didn't see anything about voting but I do agree. I was shocked when I'd seen that someone had given a cake the lowest score. Rather than hurt someone's feelings why not just go on to something else. We all love what we're doing here and the point is sharing that interest with others and learning while we do it so good for you Jackie. So bake on my friends and let have us some real fun!!

I'm grateful not to have that here any more so that trolls won't be attacking us that way. It was also not right to be comparing cakes with people of such different skill levels. Thank you to Jackie for removing the star ratings.. It wasn't helpful as it was intended, but the comments section definitely is! icon_smile.gif
