hello everyone. Just wanted to know if someone could tell me what tip to use for flames. Also, I am doing a cake for a girl turning 9. She wants vw bug on it, any ideas? Thank you for your time.

Use a leaf style tip...I think it would work out great! They make a VW style Wilton car pan. Decorate it up with hot pink and wild colored daisies. I've tried that one before. Now only if it was a cheap and easy to "frost" my real VW Beetle.

You could use a open star tip and get a flame effect.

I wonder if you could put red and yellow (flame colors) into the grass tip and pipe them out.

For flames on my sons cake, I did the flames in yellow #21 star tip (like the images show) first, then hit it with some red color spray to make it gradiate from red/orange/yellow. Then I put in the rest of the car color. It looked great!
