Can the cross cake be torted and filled?

The website says it feeds 12. Is that all?

Thanks. I need to get back to someone asap.

I would think that you could tort and fill it. I haven't tried but don't see why not! I think 12 is a pretty good number since it takes one box mix to fill the pan. If you need more cake you could always put the cross on a 1/4 or 1/2 sheet cake.

Due to its design, the cross pan cake cools more quickly than alot of other cakes, I have made several, I recommend not waiting more than 7-8 minutes as opposed to 10-15 to flip it out of the pan, the ones where I wait longer than that, cake always stays in the pan icon_sad.gif
