I had a wedding cake to work on today. The cakes were out frosted but not decorated. My husband and son went to the market and bought a small cake sans decorations, then my son smashed his hand into it and covered it with a towel. When I went to resume my decorating, I saw the covered cake and told my son that he shouldn't have done that cuz the towel would smash the edges. When I lifted the towel it was stuck to the cake and to my horror I saw the smashed handprint 
. Then my husband and son started laughing and said April Fools!! E-gads I was already thinking how I was going to repair that cake!! 
The real cake was safe in the microwave

My son had other various tricks rigged up all over the kitchen as well...last year he taped the sprayer on the sink so that when I turned it on the water it would automatically spray me. Such a clever child 
Innocent and retarded am I....I started laughing really loud. My husband wanted to know what I was laughing at so I told him the whole story. He thinks it is hilarious and said he's going to do it to me sometime now. Some how I wished I would have kept quiet...... 
Very funny but I think I'll keep this to myself. My husand and son are JUST the kind of guys to pull something like this on me and I don't think I'd handle it very well....... at first anyway. I tend to get quite stressed when I'm working on a cake with a deadline!! Thanks for sharing!!
