I don't know anything about the printers themselves but I found this site last night when I was wishful roaming. Maybe it can help.

http://www.kopykake.com

Have fun and keep us posted on how they work. I am interested in buying one in the future.

Having read several threads about clogging, I took the "better safe than sorry" route and ordered the cleaning cartridges, which I run through every six or eight print runs or so. Have had just one partial clog, which cleared up with the standard cleaning cycle, which is part of your print options window.

Congrats on getting your printer thumbs_up.gif You got a great deal. I would buy the cleaning cartridges also and a refill kit if you plan to refill the cartridges. I also buy airbrush cleaning fluid which I use to clean/soak my printhead when it needs it.

When buying the frosting sheets, you'll want the 7.5x10" ones. The larger ones won't fit your printer and the shaped ones are a pain to line up. If you want to make shaped edible images, you can print them on the 7.5x10 and cut them out. The leftover pieces of frosting sheet can be used for other projects like stamping or coloring on with edible ink markers (you can also get a nice set of those at Kopykake).
