For a double 10 layer I would charge at least $42.
If its a speciality cake like Red Velvet, Carrot etc......charge more.
Charge 20% more for Cream Cheese icing too!
I get $30 for a double layer 8 inch easy. Ingredients are Not cheap,
and I use the best ingred. icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif [/b]

do you have a basic idea of what you want it to look like? type of icing? flavor combos? anything?

The galleries could give you a good idea as far as design.

Once you figure out what you want, charge her for the entire cost of the cake, plus the reasonable amount of time it should take to make the cake multiplied by your hourly rate (whatever you think you should make per hour).
