You just add the dry mix.

you add it dry, but that is a very good question, because my daughter actually made one once with the pudding made up, didn't work! The recipe doesn't actually explain this.

good luck with your baking!

I am really new at this to, but I read somewhere that you just add the dry mix and add an extra egg to your cake.

Hope that helps icon_biggrin.gif

just the dry mix...if you want the cake to be stronger...such as for a 3d or carved cake, then add an extra egg too

I use the following:

1 box cake mix
1 package of pudding mix (add it dry)
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
1- 2 teaspoons vanilla

Combine dry cake mix with dry pudding mix. Add water & oil. Mix until moistened. Add eggs and mix well. Add flavorings and mix for 5-8 minutes.
The batter is pretty thick and the cake will rise quite a bit.

This is my quick go to when I'm too busy to make a cake from scratch. icon_wink.gif
