Help!!! My Roses Look More Like Carnations!!!

They were pretty but the petals were jagged like carnations...is my icing too stiff?
2 things I learned when my roses looked like cabbages 
Yes, your icing is probably too stiff. Thin it a bit and also you could try to add some piping gel. I just used thinner and it worked pretty well.
The other thing is make sure the tip is opened all the way. I struggled and struggled with mine and then went and bought another 104 I think it was from Michaels and it made a huge difference.
