Hi Butters,
What type of ideas did you have in mind?

You can whip your cream with strawberry pudding or strawberry flavoring.
Or fold crushed strawberries or jam in your whipped cream very carefully. With crushed strawberries you can use star tip or any bigger tip. But I don't think that helps for roses or string work.

I hope you will like my ideas.

Thanks

I would just use whipped cream with fresh strawberries as the fillings.

Would i be better off using real strawberries as the filling as opposed to strawberry preserves? If i add unflavored gelatin to the whipped cream would i be able to make roses and rosettes?

Even with the gelatin, the whipped cream is really too soft for flowers. It does work great with cornelli lace, though.
