I thought a name would be easy and decorating, paperwork and designs would be hard! Turns out - I was wrong. I have layouts and colors done but can't give them my business name - I have been working on a name for four months now - I have asked everyone I know for ideas - I am now asking you all for help. Of all the names I don't have a "WOW" name. I am in a Very Elite Area - it is often sad - but I am going to try and be a part of it. LOL! I know they say a name is everything - so thank you in advance for your ideas. Any and all will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not creative with names, but there's a company in San Diego called "Crumbs of Paris." Perhaps you can use that as a springboard for more ideas.

Depending on what you are doing- boulangerie = bakery or patisserie (with a ^ above the "a")= pastry or confiserie= confectionary....so assuming your name is Tracy....you could go with Tracy's Boulangerie Boutique or Just Around the Corner Confiserie or Patisserie Possiblities. If the area is up on the richness, stick in a word of francais (French) and they will go wild- especially for the nouveau (new) cake biz in town that's wowing people!!! Good Luck

How about taking a single French word and using that for your shop. Everything sounds better in French!! Here are some ideas.

Vanille (vanilla)

Noisette (hazelnut)

Délicieux! (delicious)

Cannelle (cinnamon)

Framboise (raspberry)

Cerise (Cherry)

Or you could try some of these:

La Patissérie _____ (and whatever name you want to follow)

La Crème de la Crème

Le gâteau d'amour

Mon petit chou

Just some ideas!
Hope that was helpful!!
