can anyone tell mehow long MMFwill last and can you make this ahead of time and freeze it?
I made some MMF 3 weeks ago and I just stored the leftover in a doubled ziploc bag at room temp. I just ate a piece and it's still the same as when I put it in there. I don't think it should be frozen. How far in advance did you want to make it? I usually do mines a week in advance if I know I'm going to have a busy week.....
My cakes are due for next friday sat and sunday I just wanted to get as much done ahead of time to save me from panicing
You can make it now and store it in doubled ziploc bags until next week with no problems. Squeeze all the air out before sealing it and keep it in cool dry place. I've been picking on the batches I made 3 weeks ago, cuz I made too much and it still tastes yummy!!
