HELP!! Can I decorate a cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and then freeze it? What is the best Cream Cheese frosting recipe??

According to Baking 911 freezing cream cheese frosting isn't reccomeded because it may break down.

Cream Cheese/Butter cream and White Chocolate all together..there was a recipe given out the other day... icon_smile.gif

There is a recipe called "Crusting Cream Cheese Frosting" in the recipe section that works well and tastes great. Make sure your ingredients are completely at room temp. before beginning. icon_smile.gif

Yes, if you'll look in my photos at the princess cake with the tiara, I used that icing for the entire cake. thumbs_up.gif

Thanks, that was a very pretty cake. I will certainly use this frosting.
On the Pastors cake, how did you put the cross and hands on the cake? Was this a transfer, or an edible print?

Thank you! The hands are a frozen buttercream transfer, and the cross is several colors of gel icing.

I have used the Frozen BC transfers before, where would you purchase them at, would they be at a cake decoarating supply store, Michaels....ect.....? usaribbon.gif
