I finally got the picture of the Land Mine birthday cake from my Daughter. I added the bow and butterfly since it was going to a girl and I thought it took some of the distructive look away from it. The wife absolutely loved it and everyone laughed when they saw it. The two couples were very unique people. The customer's husband that was injured severely by the mine told me a story after I told him that I was a little reluctant to make it. He said that he and the birthday girl's husband (who lost part of a leg) lay in the dirt telling each other funny stories as they lay bleeding profusely. The birthday girl said that it was the prettiest one she had ever seen and the young man that lost part of his leg said it looked just like one. Everyone in the restaurant took note of the cake and as I walked out after thanking them for everything they have done I had a smile on my face and felt good. I didn't charge them for the cake and took it all the way across the city to deliver it. That was the least that I could do.
