I am thinking of purchasing the book cake pan. Which is the most popular size? The one cake mix pan or the two cake mix pan?
Thank you

I have both, but find when someone is asking for a cake they are usually looking for a party and the two box cake fits the bill very nicely. I rarely use the 1 box.

I have a book pan and it takes 3 cake mixes to make it full...
I use it alot both for bridal and baby showers and christenings too...

What about using the one box book pan and sitting it on a sheet cake? Just an idea? I would think it would be a more elegant presentation. Your thoughts?

That's a good idea--why not? But personally, I have the larger size of book pan, and generally use it more than the smaller.
