That's what I have out too. ![]()
The other night I made pasta sauce. Ground turkey I seasoned up, chopped onions, mushrooms, spinach, romano cheese, garlis and your favorite sauce. Then I boiled some angel hair pasta and tossed it in the sauce when it was done. Mmm mmm.
Last week I tried a "comfort food" someone told me about that sounded a little strange but was actually pretty good. Tater tot casserole. lol
Brown up turkey, season. You can add onions and mushrooms if you like. I added in a few, some green beans too. Then add a can of cream of mushroom soup.
You can layer some tater tots on the bottom of a baking dish (9x13) or mix the tots in with the turkey/cream of mushroom mixture and then put in dish. Top with some cheddar cheese and then bake for about 45-60 mins. or until golden. Tasty.
I also use ground turkey for chili, meatballs, tacos/nachos/enchiladas, etc.
I like using ground turkey over ground beef any day, to me the ground turkey has more flavor, and it seems to have way less fat than ground beef.
I like to make tacos with ground turkey and taco seasoning, very easy and yummy.
You can basically substitute ground turkey for ground beef in almost any recipe.

I grew up on Tater Tot Casserole. We used beef though.
You can also use a can of cream of cerlery instead of the cream of mushroom. We always put the meat on bottom, grates cheese on top of that, then layered the tator tots on top. ![]()
