I have a brand new pack of frosting paper/rice paper, whatever you call it, and it just isn't sticking well to the frosting (I put it on as soon as possible). It doesnt get that nice blended look, especailly on the edges (kind of crinkles up) I think the manufacturer let it get too dry or something. Do you think I can maybe spray it or something before putting it on? I hate to waste this entire pack of paper!

Thanks!

Frosting paper and rice paper are two different things. Which one do you have? Frosting sheets should blend in with the icing, whereas rice paper typically won't.

I have used only rice paper and I spray the back of my paper with water then put it on the cake; I've never had any problems.

These are suppose to be frosting sheets, but they seem thicker then what I have used in the past (first order from this company) do you think I should spray them?

If they're not blending in, you gotta do SOMETHING. I always get nervous when water gets around inkjet printing....I'd probably brush some piping gel on the back.
