I think you mean Chocolate Clay AKA Chocolate Leather or Chocolate Plastic. It's rolled out like fondant.. you need to cut in smaller pieces, then pop it in the oven for about 10 seconds or less just to soften it so it will be easy to roll out.. Have you made the Chocolate Clay already ?
It's all Candy Melts (14 oz) and 1/3 cup light corn syrup.. melt both together until blended..do not over heat, it will burn and the oil will separate. let it cool at room temp. until firm.. This can be tricky if it's your first time making this.. ![]()
Just to warn you.. I use the candy clay all the time for figure molding, I love it...
But, It is VERY hard to cover a cake with! Good Luck, you may know more than I . I am pretty new to fully covering cakes...Hope it works better for you than it did for me. ![]()
