I have a bride that's interested in an off-white fondant. Does anyone have a photo they can share of SatinIce Ivory Fondant? None of the websites I order from shows an image of the color - only the bucket! icon_confused.gif I really don't want to tint that much fondant, so if the SatinIce is dark, I'll steer her towards white.

CakesbySam.com sells Ivory Satin Ice. There are some photos in their gallery of wedding cakes that I believe are covered in the ivory Satin Ice. Maybe this helps. icon_smile.gif

This is a cake I made with Ivory Satin Ice... Their Ivory is an odd color by itself...It was a dark ivory so I ended up mixing white with it and it looked much better. thumbs_up.gif It really doesn't look ivory here, but if you put it up to a white fondant cake you can tell.

Thanks dsoutherngirl and TamiAZ! I was afraid the ivory would be too dark and did not like the thoughts of kneading all that fondant together to lighten it. Plus, my luck, I'd never get it all the same color! icon_sad.gif Tami, that cake is beautiful!!! icon_smile.gif

I haven't use Satin Ice's ivory but I made the baby feet shower cake in my photos with FondX ivory and it is a very pretty color. It is not to dark. Pfiel & Holing carries FondX if you'd want to use that (website is www.cakedeco.com).

If you look in my pics, the tiered cake with the peach colored flowers is made with the Ivory Satinice. I didn't think it was too dark.

You can see how dark it is compared to the white plastic pillars I have it on.

I, personally found the ivory too dark... I prefer a lighter ivory color so I mixed it with white...You may love it like the others did. You should order some and decide for yourself.

Thank you for the nice comments on my cake... icon_smile.gif
