I have a bride that's interested in an off-white fondant. Does anyone have a photo they can share of SatinIce Ivory Fondant? None of the websites I order from shows an image of the color - only the bucket!
I really don't want to tint that much fondant, so if the SatinIce is dark, I'll steer her towards white.
CakesbySam.com sells Ivory Satin Ice. There are some photos in their gallery of wedding cakes that I believe are covered in the ivory Satin Ice. Maybe this helps. ![]()
Thanks dsoutherngirl and TamiAZ! I was afraid the ivory would be too dark and did not like the thoughts of kneading all that fondant together to lighten it. Plus, my luck, I'd never get it all the same color!
Tami, that cake is beautiful!!! ![]()
I haven't use Satin Ice's ivory but I made the baby feet shower cake in my photos with FondX ivory and it is a very pretty color. It is not to dark. Pfiel & Holing carries FondX if you'd want to use that (website is www.cakedeco.com).
