How Do You Insert Your Tissue Pape Into Your Bouquets?

Mine always look so sloppy, I need a more professional look.
All I do is line the container with a piece, put in the foam, put another piece (usually cut in half over top of the foam and tuck some down on the sides. Then I stick the cookies in.
I've also seen someone on here place each cookie stick in a piece of tissue and then inseart them in the foam.
I place a large piece or two in the basket before putting the foam in. Then put the foam in to hold it in place. I use paper shreds or cut additional tissue into about 6 inch squares, center the stick on the square and pull the tissue up around the stick and then push it into the foam. Usually that fills it in well.
I cut squares as mentioned above, then I use floral sticks that are wired, and wrap the tissue to the stick. This leaves the tissue very secure, and neatly arranged. Also, metal floral picks would work (the kind that look like hairpins). Hope that helps!
Here is a tip: Wrap floral wire around each piece of gathered tissue, then insert it into the foam! I read this in a candy making book AFTER I beat my head in the wall trying to figure out how this lady at the mall got hers to look sooo good. I really believe that this is it!!!
A couple of my cookie bouquets are posted in my photos. Just look underneath my name in the post, and there will be a photos tab, click that and you will see the tissue paper that we are talking about. I cut squares. bunch them like a handkerchief and tie the floral wire around the bunch, and anchor with the attached floral pick. There are tons of other photos of other peoples baskets on here that use tissue as well. Just check under the cookie gallerie. Hope it clears it up for you.
