Which type of Butter cream the Wilton one will last in the refrigerator for 3- 4 weeks and in the freezer up to 6 months. Most buttercreams will last this long I would think, I don't know about IMBC I haven't used it.

i used the BCF recipe from this site. 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup shortening, 2 bags of confect. sugar, vanilla, and 5-6 tblsp. milk.

i've had it in a sealed container out of the fridge. it still tastes alright. just wondering how long it would last. ty.

I would think it would last a couple of weeks in the refridgerator for a couple of weeks, even out I would think it will keep for a few days, anyway.
