Hi
I have an order due Saturday for a 1/4 sheet cake. Its a birthday cake for a woman in her last 30's. All she requested is to have some neon green on the cake and Happy Birthday. I must be working to hard at my regular full-time job because I can't think of anything to do. Initially I was thinking of doing cornelli lace in white (the cake will be iced white) and then putting a bundle of neon green roses in the middle and making a plaque out of candle melts the writing happy birthday on. I just don't know. Not really feeling that idea. Please help!!!
I am in my late thirties, and I love the retro styles. Why not do a hot pink cake with some different sizes of neon green circles and dots, birthday message could still be on a banner, but do the banner in neon green with hot pink lettering and do a neon green and hot pink ball border. Look under "retro" and you will find tons of ideas. I really like that style. Or, if you don't want to do the hot pink, just do the neon green against a white background. Just a thought. Good luck.
