I have searched the forums and can not find the answer.

How many servings are in the butterfly pan?

The character pans generally serve 12.

12 servings seems extremely low. I thought it would be closer to 25.

Anyone ever used this pan?

I have used it many times.... I tell people it serves 12-15 people... you have to remember serving size to you and serving size to others... some people want a hunk a cake and some people want a sliver... the average to wilton is 2x2 so I think 12-15 is a safe assumption. When I do a character pan on my kids birthday I always do another sheet or cupcakes, because you just never know who might eat what... You could get 25 out of it if you cut it that way, but your pieces would be smaller. Good luck icon_smile.gif

I would say about 20 servings and if you need more you could make cupcakes, I think they look very cute together. icon_smile.gif

According to Wilton, all their 'shaped' pans serve 12. I agree that these must be very generous portions! I always advise my customers that these pans will serve up to 20. Hope that helps!

Thanks everyone, I hate dealing with these pans because like many have said it depends on who's cutting the cake and how much people like to eat.

I have quoted for 8-12, and advised that if more cake is needed that cupcakes would be a great addition.
