My son wants me to make these for him. Anyone have any good ideas on how I can transport them to the school?

in an upside down cupcake tin, just put them between the cups. Does this make sense?

When I made them last year... I took my mini-muffin pan that holds 24...put 2 layers of a heavy duty aluminum foil over the whole thing... cut little X's over each of the holes and stuck the ice cream cones right in...
we had to take a windy road to get where we were going and we didn't have any casualties. LOL
I also baked them using that pan...

You can also get one of those soda crates from the grocery store.. you know, the cardboard ones that hold individual cheap soda cans... flip it upside down and cut out the holes a bit... hope that makes sense. LOL

I actually transported mine in those little cupcake holders that the grocery stores put theirs in. I just added some tissue paper around the base of the ice cream cones and tucked them in the cupcake holder. Put them in a box and it worked like a charm. You can see it in my picture on my website. HTH!

I used a basket...you can use floral foam or styrofoam take a drill bit and make holes just big enough for the base of the cone to fit down into and cover it first with plastic wrap and then with something pretty stick it down in a basket and voila you have a pretty carrying case...I have one in my pics if you would like to look.
