Had a cake order last weekend...had everything ready. and one of the last things i put on the cake...or tryed too was the fbct.......does anyone out there know or had the problem of them cracking in half? and how to fix them? i am wondering if because i used small tips....? and...it seemed to soften a minute after i got it out of the freezer...at this point..i am not sure if i am going to be using this method again....

I think your Steelers transfer turned out great.

I recently did a few and for once they didnt crack.... I did make them super thick though...and where I put in on the cake I made a small "hole" so it wouldn't stand off the cake so much....

keep trying.... you will do them without thinking once you get the confidence in yourself!

it is pretty much impossible to line them up after they crack- one of mine the dog's head fell off (that was the narrowest part) Make them extra thick seems to help and thin icing I think the extra water makes them freeze harder and then you have more time to move them

You have got to hurry up as fast as you possibly can to get them on the cake!!!!! And, sometimes you should make two transfers just in case. Usually the smaller ones don't break/crack as larger ones will.

Just keep practicing and you'll get it! Good Luck!!
