I wanted to apply some luster dust on the surface of fondant much like a blush. Should I just go out and buy a cheep blush brush or is there a perfered paint brush that most of the CC members use?

Blush brush does work you just have to not blotch it, you have to tend to stroke it a little vigorously just to prevent blotch. i haven't a clue if they have a special brush for that, someone tell me though!

Yea, you can just use a blush brush--I do all the time. But my suggestion is not to get a cheapy one because they tend to shed all the hairs everywhere. HTH icon_biggrin.gif

I just went out and bought some various sized paint brushes (like the long flat ones) and that works pretty good be cause you can cover a large surface without making it too blotchy.

Yes, you can use you icing gels--either directly out of the jar or thin them down with a clear alcohol. Or you can use use luster or petal dusts to paint too.
