Hello,
I'm new to baking and I don't have a large mixer, only a hand held. Does everyone use a large mixer to mix their frostings? If you don't have a KA, is there a special way that you mix your frostings? Seems like every frosting I want to do says to use a large mixer. How do you get around this, or can you?

Sorry for all the questions. I just can't afford a KA at this time.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I just use a hand mixer for BC. I was told that if you use a hand (electric) mixer, to only do one batch of BC at a time, or it will kill it, LOL.

I hear ya on the KA...I SO want one...but they're so expensive!

When I made MMF, I just mixed it with a wooden spoon at first, and then with my hands.
