...I'm sitting here eating a big ole slice of "All-American Chocolate Cake" from Costco and it is fantastic! Soo sooo soo yummy. Sorry, I know the general consensus is that anything not home baked or from a "real" bakery is not good, but darn it, THIS IS GOOD.

I really like the cakes from Costco. If I do not feel like making my own, Costco is my choice. Enjoy.

I'm with you...I don't have a Costco nearby, but I did pick up a Walmart cheesecake today to take to work tomorrow. (of course, I bought a second one to have here at home...)

Our Sam's cakes are really good here. I've had other ones from different Sams and they were awful, but the one here is good. Just thinking about it makes me want one of their chocolate cakes.

Don't feel bad. I love the cakes from Publix (even after having worked there). Some chain bakeries do sell decent stuff.
