Hello my name is Heather and I am a Cake Central addict. 
I have been on the site for less than a week now and I already have a problem. My DH and DD have sent a search and rescue team into my office to wrestle me away from the computer. He is talking about holding an intervention.
I have learned so much from all the wonderful people here. So many tips and tricks. There is not enough time in the day or night for that matter to soak up all the information.
I just wanted to take a mintue to say thank you to everyone who makes this site possible.
Is there a Betty Ford Clinic for us addicts?
I don't know if there is a 12 step group or not but since I love my addition I guess you could say I'm in denial and refuse to admit I have a problem 
I could go into rehab but I know I would go right back to my cake addition as soon as I got out. So I'm not going!

My name is Tammy and I too am an addict. Last night I actually found myself making my 7 year old son stop playing his computer game because I wanted to load a picture and get everyone's input. Now, when I tell him "I need to check my email" he stands there and watches me because for some reason, some how cc comes up on the screen (I swear I didn't go there on my own) and he gets upset telling me that this is not my email and now I will be forever

I too am an addict.... family what family... boyfriend, shmofriend. Who wants to try to rip me away from the computer??!? I have an 12" decorating spatula and I know how use it ....
My name is Teresa and I am a Cake Central addict. My addiction is so bad that my 3 year old and 20 mth old are also on here entirly too much. My 3 yr old is always saying "mommy can we look at cakes together?" or "Click on that one!". So then the 20 mth old also has to sit with us and OHHHHs and AHHHHs over all the fabuloUs cakes!!! The only down fall to this is that they block my view of the screen! HAHAHAHAHHA.
I do have to say that I spend a little less time on here as I used to, but only because I am in the kitchen trying all the ideas that I have gotten on here. Currently I an in the process of making my own cookie cutters.
I have also recruted 2 of my best friends and my mother to join!

OMG, I was just going to say the exact same thing.....it really happened this past Friday afternoon.

LOL, me too, well I go into the kitchen because it's the nearest room to the office (where the computer is).
