I'm still new at all of this...and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for decorating the sides of cakes. I see this beautiful sides and I would love to recreate them. Mine are okay, but I'm wondering if anyone has tips.

I'm still a little shaky so I guess....practice, practice, practice.

Thanks
Stephanie

That's exactly what we need... practice.

there are some lovely presses that you can push into the sides of the cake, then outline and voila!

I just bought two sets from Michaels last weekend.
Inching to use them already. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for your ideas. I have the presses, they work great! It's all about a steady hand I guess.

Raise your cake to eye level and its much easier. I had the same problem until I was told to have the cake eye level.
