I was just wondering. Today's opening day in Detroit. My Dad's going to the game and I am SOooo jealous. After our great season last year, the place is gonna be crazy. I'm just happy baseball is starting back up again! It's like Spring has finally sprung

I wish I were, but my hubby is a White Sox fan and very excited. We are debating taking our son out of school on his birthday so he can go to the White Sox vs. Yankees game. I know, not necessarily a good thing to do, but when is that ever going to happen again on his birthday. Bad Parents! He has a great teacher who would find it a great thing for him.
ME! I love my Boston Red Sox.....the joke is that both of my dear brothers are major NEW YORK YANKEE fans! 
We have lots of fun when we get together! 
Don't you just love that movie with Drew Barrymore, "Fever Pitch"? I think that is the name, or something like it. I love the documentary about the Red Sox curse and that same year they had to change it because they won!!!!!!! Yeah!!!
We have the local rivalry with the Cubs and White Sox.
One of my sons was born the day the Red Sox won the World Series (10/27)...I like to say that HE reversed the curse!
As for me, I'm a Twins fan...

I'm so happy to be watching BBall on TV! The Yankees game just got over and the Mariners game starts in 2 hours! w00t!

oh, and my eldest son has just started T-ball practice last week and that's exciting as well 
Well, I don't know if I should post this considering the first post in this thread (a Tigers fan), but I've been a Cardinal fan my whole big life! I've been an addict since I was 6 and was taken to old Busch Stadium the year it opened. Now we have a new Busch and are the reigning World Series Champions. Go Cards!!!!
I'm with JodieF....I've been a Cardinal fan my whole life as well. I came from a Cardinal family (except for one brother, he is a Cub's fan). When we were kids we would cut out circle tokens off of the Kelly's potato chip bags, after you had so many circle tokens you got a free ticket to Busch stadium. I love going to the park.
I live in Columbus Ohio now, and we have a minor league team. It is so much fun to go to the games.
Well, even though the tigers lost today, it was still a great game. (my dad blames it on the refs )

JodieF and Ohara~ thanks for posting in spite of my team. Honestly, last season, I was just happy we beat the YAnkees- imho, that was greater than winning the World Series(although I wouldn't have complained lol) Oh, and I can 't wait until we play each other again in May
